Korean Skincare FAQ
Is ‘vegan collagen’ really collagen?
No, not strictly speaking. Collagen is an animal protein; no plant produces it. The ‘vegan collagen’ in our serums refers to plant-based actives (Tremella & Chaga mushrooms, peptides) that hydrate and give a plumping effect: Tremella can hold up to ~500× its weight in water, for visibly bouncier skin.
What is PDRN?
PDRN (polynucleotides), the star active of K-beauty, comes from DNA fragments. In cosmetics it is used on the skin’s surface: it visibly plumps, revives radiance and comforts sensitised skin, with no medical claims (it does not replicate an in-clinic injection).
Are your products vegan?
Most of them are. The rare exceptions (a collagen of animal origin, the royal jelly in a foot cream) are clearly flagged on the product page concerned. We never sell a product as ‘vegan’ when it isn't.
Are your products tested?
Yes, several of our products are backed by clinical studies carried out in laboratories under dermatological supervision. Examples (consumer use test, finished product): a balm that visibly refines pores (−32.6% pore volume in 4 weeks*) and removes 98.6% of pore impurities after the first cleanse*; a toner that soothes overheated skin (heat-induced redness reduced by 42%*) and provides +237% surface hydration from the first application*. The figures and their full method (*consumer use or instrumental test, number of subjects, device, duration) are given on each product page. When the evidence is missing, we don't make it up.
Can I use them during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Some actives (bakuchiol, retinol…) call for caution. As a precaution, ask a healthcare professional before using a new product during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Where do the brands come from?
From South Korea. They are emerging brands, selected one by one by our founder, who is passionate about Korea. Some cannot be found anywhere else in Europe.
Where do you ship from?
From France. Fast delivery within metropolitan France, with no customs duties.
Why such a small range?
Because choosing is part of our job. Fewer than 15 products, every one of them checked: formula, studies, regulatory status.
Do your products meet European regulations?
Yes. Like every cosmetic product sold in the European Union, each of our products follows EU cosmetics rules (ingredients, labelling, claims).
How do I choose my products?
Tell us your skin type and your goal (hydration, radiance, comfort for sensitive skin, first wrinkles…): we will point you towards a minimalist routine that suits you.
